City of Bremerhaven is a port of Bremen. Together they form a separate and the smallest land in Germany. City is fairly new (founded in 1827) and located on the seafront, so almost all of the attractions are connected with the sea.

In 2009 in Bremerhaven was completed a large project to turn part of the port area into a tourist spot. As a result, appeared a new area of the city Harbour Worlds. Actually, this is the main reason to visit the Bremerhaven. Along the harbor stand ships of German Maritime Museum.

The city has another unusual museum of German emigration. About 7 million Germans left the country through Bremerhaven and went to seek their fortune in the United States, Brazil and Argentina. But we were already to tired to visit it.

If you decide to take a walk in the old city, here's a map for tourists, although nothing interesting there, except graffiti.
