A cool waterfall in a wild place, we really liked it. It's not so easy to get there, the turn-off from the main road is here
-20.516389, 57.520333, there is a sign there. There are also signs further on, but you might not see them. You need to drive to
-20.505222, 57.516917, following this route (
google.maps). The route may change, as there are fields and dirt roads. It may be muddy, especially after rain. If you see that you cannot drive through, you can simply leave your car and walk, as it is not far away.
The waterfall is already visible from the parking area; you need to walk down to it. There may be a local vendor selling coconuts and other fruits; we bought some for everyone.

The waterfall is quite full, even during dry periods. A distinctive feature are the natural basalt columns, stone blocks of perfectly rectangular shape. This is the result of the island's ancient volcanic activity.

The locals jump off the waterfall, but we didn't risk it, and besides, we were the only ones there when we arrived in the morning. If you take off your shoes and cross to the other side of the river, you can climb up the waterfall.
